Decorative Prints

Early printing was occasionally enlivened by wood block prints or engraved prints, often as terminal decorations, or images that purportedly went with the text or sometimes recycled images from other printing projects that looked nice, but did not have any strong connection with the text. Here are a few that were either interesting, or amusing. Unfortunately, not all of them can be identified to a source or author. If you happen to know feel free to send word. PLTF is happy to present these as uncopyrighted clipart.
